This exquisite small painting transports us to Paris, depicting the striking scene of the Seine flood from Pont-Neuf in 1979. Belloni cherished spending autumn and early winter in Paris, where the bare trees revealed the city\u2019s true architecture and soul. For the rest of the year, he immersed himself in Venice, seeking to capture its unique light.<\/p>\n

Throughout his life, he devoted himself to painting, working every day, in all weather, to capture the essence of Paris.<\/p>\n His travels to Holland allowed him to master the techniques of the Flemish masters, which he perfected throughout his career.
