Alfred August Felix Bachmann (1863-1956) is a painter of the German School of the 19th and 20th centuries. He is known for his animated landscapes, marine scenes, and orientalist works.<\/p>\n
Born on October 1, 1863, in Dirschau (near Danzig), he passed away in 1956 in Ambach-sur-Obb. Bachmann was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in K\u00f6nigsberg in East Prussia. He settled in Munich in 1891 and began traveling, dedicating himself to the landscapes of Iceland, Normandy, the coasts of Portugal, the sites of Tenerife, views of Venice, Istanbul, and the Bosphorus.<\/p>\n
His work \"La Seine\" is exhibited at the Mus\u00e9e de Meudon.<\/p>\n
