Originating from the Bourg-en-Bresse region, as indicated by the coats of arms, this exceptional and elegant games table is crafted from darkened fruitwood. The Tric-Trac section features marquetry in Kingwood, boxwood, and stained sycamore, while the reversible top showcases two magnificent trompe l'oeil paintings: one depicting a chessboard within a B\u00e9rain-style frame adorned with crayfish and a coat of arms, and the other featuring a checkers game surrounded by geometric patterns, birds, and butterflies.<\/p>\n
