<\/p>\n
Pierre Sicard focused on painting, exhibiting in Paris for the first time in 1924.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n His work, rather post-impressionist in style, is marked by the recurring theme of Parisian life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pierre Sicard exhibited in the United States in March 1936 at the Galerie Marie Sterner in New York.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 1946, he exhibited at the Galerie Bignou in New York, and in 1949, after many trips and residences in Europe, he settled in California and became a naturalized American citizen.<\/p>\n In 1951, he exhibited at the Dalzell Hatfield Gallery in Los Angeles and at the Carstairs Gallery, whose catalog text was signed by Jean Renoir.
