A pair of small ormolu candlesticks decorated with Vendôme columns from the Empire period circa 1810
An interesting and decorative pair of small candlesticks in finely chased bronze with a fine Vendôme column decoration, palmettes, griffins, and lyre, in a fine original gilding.
Beautiful French work of the Empire period, circa 1805-1810.
Dimensions : Hauteur 21,5 cm – diamètre 10,5 cm.
In good condition, with some wear to the period gilding which gives this pair of torches their charm and authenticity. There was a slight impact on the base.
