Pair of large Pampres and Passementerie sconces in chiseled and gilded bronze after Quentin-Claude Pitoin

 

Inspired by a model by Quentin-Claude Pitoin (1725-1777), who produced a set of four of three-light kept in the collection of the Nissim de Camondo Museum.

 

Une magnifique paire d’appliques en bronze ciselé et doré à deux bras de lumière à décor de nœud de ruban, feuillages, pampres et passementerie.

 

Our Louis XVI-style sconces were manufactured circa 1850-1870.

Bears an M bronzier's mark (research in progress).

 

Dimensions : Hauteur totale avec fourreaux opaline 70 cm – Hauteur 58 cm – Largeur 30 cm – Profondeur 18 cm.

Our pair of sconces is in fine condition, in their original gilding.

Electrification to European standards.
