French Regence Period Black Lacquered Flat Desk with Gilt Brass Inlay, c. 1715–1723

An elegant and decorative black lacquered flat desk, standing on gracefully curved legs. It features three drawers in the front apron, adorned with geometric refined gilt brass and gilt bronze inlay.
